:State Street + Beyond:Madison, Wisconsin:

Madison may be is one of my all-time favorite cities. If you read the previous blog, you know that my husband and I were recently there for the Badger game.  On Sunday, we took a break from football and enjoyed the beautiful day strolling around downtown Madison.  We ventured through the UW campus, around the capitol, and up and down State Street.  The weather couldn't have been more amazing. Here are a few of the shots I took that are available for sale as Art Canvases or regular Photographs.  Please contact me for rates and sizing options.

:Seniors all Over Again|Madison, Wisconsin:

Last weekend, my dear husband and I snuck away to Madison for the Wisconsin/Ohio State football game to celebrate our coming annversary {10-18}....while there, I insisted that we not only visit State Street, but also take pictures.  We have a favorite parking spot downtown, and prior to this trip we had never noticed the great walls of the buildings surrounding it.  Here are a few shots of us with one of the unique walls.  Hoping to do more shoots around this lot and downtown Madison in the nearish future! They are the perfect backdrop for any kind of session

Senior pictures round two for us.
To think we were joking all weekend about enrolling at the UW.
It's only logical that we'd need to get our Senior Pictures done first!
If you legitimately need Senior pics, family pics, engagement pics....and the list goes on
Contact me @ heather@absoluteblissphoto.com for session availability.

Here is the proof that I am a REAL person and not just a figment of this blog!
For the record, I absolutely positively LOVE these shots.
Cannot wait to turn them into Art Canvas prints.

:Andy+Joelle|Married:

Meet Andy + Joelle.  They are the perfect complement of one another.  Where he is weak, she is strong.  They've been through most everything, they know what the meaning of "true love" is, and I don't think there's anything that could tear them apart.  They are meant for one another.   A gorgeous 80 degree summer Fall day {for the record, I think it was possibly 62 when I got married |also in mid-October}, lots of sunshine, lots of laughs, love, and a stunning bride......okay, you were very pretty too Andy! In all seriousness, I wish the two of them nothing but the best.  Congrats guys!

:Madalyn+Levi|Wisconsin Toddler Photographer:

Here we are, way back at day one of my toddler filled weekend a few weeks ago.  Meeting Madalyn + Levi on what started off as a typical Fall Saturday {and turned into a rainy, cold, hot cocoa, hat+mittens necessary Saturday} literally brought a smile to my face.  I have known their momma {oh the pictures, we both could post} since the 7th grade.....I won't even do the numerical math or I will feel like a dinosaur, I'm sure, so similar to Kyle's session, their session seemed to close the circle of a relationship.  I love reconnecting with old friends, and what a better way to do so than over a photo session with their children.  Okay, perhaps a playdate where my children come along would be even more fun.....but only if I can bring along my good friend Canon.  2 locations, 2 great kids, 2 outfits a piece = TOO many adorable shots!  Here are few of my favorites from their session.  Note|Levi is all boy, Levi is all 18 month old boy which equates to Levi doesn't like to has no time to sit still.  He has things to do.  Madalyn on the other hand, was a pretty princess, posing and smiling at all the right times.  Hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I did, shooting + editing them.

:Natalie+Christian|Wisconsin Toddlers Photographer:

Photographing Natalie + Christian a few weeks ago, was nothing like work.  Not that my sessions usually feel like work, but these two kiddos hold a special place in my lens.  I was with their momma when she found out she was carrying Natalie, I found out I was pregnant with my son Alexander just hours before Natalie was born {just as I was the first to know that Lisa was pregnant, she was the first to know that I was pregnant for the first time as well}  Between us, we have a 3 yr old, 2 1/2 year old, and almost 2 year old.  She is braver than me, and they are expecting baby #3 in early November.  Our children are playmates, we are best friends, and she is the Godmother of my youngest son Austin.  The kiddos weren't quit sure what to make of me sans children and with a camera in my hand at first, but once we got our feet wet {figuritively, not literally} My 2nd + 3rd favorite toddlers came right out of their shell.  We had a fantastic day, and I am in love with the creative magic that came out of my camera and cannot wait to find out whether they are getting a baby brother or sister in a few weeks.

:The Preuss Family:WisconsinFamily Photographer:

I love the family dynamic.  I love learning about the ways that becoming a mommy+daddy changes things.  And I loved spending the afternoon with the Preuss family a few weeks ago.  After spending a chilly Saturday with the Wagner's {their post is coming}, I headed out again on Sunday to photograph the Preuss family.  This time, the weather was a zillion times nicer.  The sun was shining, the temperature was in the mid 60's, not too hot....not too cold. PERFECT....FABULOUS! {I actually felt bad that the Wagner's had the Saturday spot.}  We started out shooting at a local park by Lake Wausau, and then took a trip out to a pumpkin patch/corn maze for the 2nd half of our day.  Most of our shoot focused on the kiddos {again, they're coming in another post} but we also wanted to get some shots of the family of 4 before they became a family of 5 {cannot believe it is now just 3 weeks away, cannot wait to find out |boy or girl|, and cannot wait to photograph the newest member of their family.  The Preuss family, to put it bluntly, is phenomenal!

:Kyle|Wisconsin Infant Photographer:

I feel so honored that I was able to photograph the adorable Kyle.  Just shy of 6 months, and already a little heartbreaker.  His big blue eyes captivated me from the moment I met him.  {Don't tell my own blue eyed casanovas this}.  Unbelievably, Kyle put up with us changing clothes, locations, poses, etc. for about 3 hours!  He was such a little trooper, and a blast to photograph.  It was also nice reconnecting with Kyle's gorgeous momma; I'll be honest, I had forgotten just how beautiful and fun she was.  His daddy's pretty cool too.  They are the nicest, most down-to-earth family you will meet.  And I am so happy that they are blessed with Kyle as their son!
